Nutrigenomic Lean: An exciting new tool to support your body composition, health and longevity goals!!

New_Improved

Nutrigenomic Lean is a blend of 5 unique compounds.

While each of these ingredients can individually support weight loss and/or insulin sensitivity, together they create a powerful synergy. Nutrigenomic Lean was formulated specifically to support our client’s goals of health and longevity. It does this by:

  • Promoting healthy blood glucose levels

  • Increasing lean muscle

  • Encouraging efficient fat metabolism

  • Enhancing mitochondrial function

  • Maintaining strong bones

When these pieces are in place and optimized your system can more easily gain muscle and shed unwanted fat. Your bone mineral density will improve along with the addition of lean muscle. As a result, the likelihood of youthful longevity is significantly increased!

Our Medical Director, Dr. Daniel Stickler, has been developing/researching this formula over the past few years. He has hand selected these compounds based on properties outlined below.

The use of berberine may effectively regulate blood glucose and lipids, lighten insulin resistance in the body and reduce inflammatory response level. Berberine has also been shown to assist weight and body fat loss by inhibiting the enzyme lipoprotein lipase, which increases fat storage.(1) Studies have found that berberine “bio-accumulates” in the liver, such that it can target fat deposits that harm liver health and disrupt whole-body homeostasis (2).

Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa) The leaves contain several bio-active ingredients that include ellagitannins and corosolic acid, which have an insulin-like effect that helps lower elevated blood sugar levels. It's believed the acid achieves this by regulating how glucose transporter proteins, especially GLUT4, react with blood glucose. In addition, these compounds may also be able to suppress the formation of new fat cells.

Tetradecylthioacetic acid is thought to enhance mitochondrial function and make the cells use of glucose more efficient with less insulin. Both of which can aid in fat-loss efforts. Data also support the hypothesis that supplementation of TTA (tetradecylthioacetic acid) may increase hepatic fatty acid beta-oxidation, and thereby reduce the size of adipose tissues, which can decrease fat mass accumulation. (for more information, find our Ingredient Spotlight on TTA here)

Grains of Paradise, a species of the ginger family, can increases energy expenditure (EE) through the activation of brown adipose tissue. It may also be an effective and safe tool for reducing body fat, mainly by preventing visceral fat accumulation.

Fucoxanthin is a special carotenoid with many bioactivities. The results of animal studies show that fucoxanthin has potential value in preventing and treating lifestyle-related diseases, such as obesity, diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and other chronic diseases. Fucoxanthin is proved to have no side effects and can be easily extracted from macroalgae and microalgae.
